Here is how it works....
Hoop a sheer fabric or
stabilizer
Do the applique in
bright colors on the
stabilizer or fabric.
Cover the stablizer and
applique with your top
fabric. Pin down the top
layer.
The finished satin stitch will sew out on
the top fabric. After sewing, trim away
the bottom stabilizer or fabric.
You are finished! Wasn't that easy!
Wouldn't this liik precious around the
bottom of a dress?
